The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup cricket event. It takes place every two years and features national teams playing Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) organises it. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is set to take place from June 2 to June 29, 2024, and it is unique in that it will be hosted by both the West Indies and the United States. This is the first time ICC World Cup matches have been held in the United States.

Teams who did well in the 2022 tournament, including the two host nations, received automatic spots for the following one. Two more berths were awarded to the top-ranked teams in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Team Rankings that had not qualified until November 14, 2022.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule
According to the latest reports, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will take place from June 2 to June 29, 2024.
The T20 World Cup will include 55 matches and 20 teams. Australia won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2023.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Host Nation
The United States of America and the West Indies will host the 2024 International Cricket Council Men’s Twenty20 World Cup. However, by October 2022, the ICC had withdrawn USA Cricket as administrative co-host owing to financial noncompliance and debt problems.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Format:
The 20 teams who qualify will be divided into four groups of five each. The top two teams from each group advance to the Super 8 phase. During this phase, the qualifying teams will be divided into two groups of four, with the top two teams from each group receiving a berth in the knockout stage. The knockout stage will include two semi-finals and one final.
