Early Life and Background :
Tanisha Crasto was born on 5 May 2003 , Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where she spent her formative years surrounded by a family deeply rooted in sports. Her early exposure to various athletic activities laid the groundwork for her eventual passion for badminton.
From a young age, Tanisha displayed a natural aptitude for the sport, catching the attention of coaches and mentors who recognized her potential. Encouraged by her family’s support and driven by her own determination, she delved into rigorous training sessions, refining her skills and mastering the intricacies of badminton.

She moved to India in 2018 to represent Goa in Indian events after competing in Gulf-based competitions. She competed for India in the 2018 and 2019 BWF World Junior Championships as well as the 2019 Badminton Asia Junior Championships.
Crasto competed in the Uber Cup and Sudirman Cup after joining the Indian badminton squad in 2021. At the 2021 Scottish Open, she and Ishaan Bhatnagar finished second in the mixed doubles competition.
Crasto competed in her first-ever BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament in 2022 at the India Open, where she took part in the mixed doubles competition alongside Ishaan Bhatnagar and the women’s doubles competition with Rutaparna Panda.
