What Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi asks of this Test

Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi shows its hand in the first hour. If the new ball moves, the top order has to leave. If it sits up, the opening stand can settle the day before the change bowlers arrive. Afghanistan and Bangladesh play that surface on this date, not a generic one.

Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be separated by sessions at Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi, not by one over. The new ball and the first-innings total still set the match.

Who has to win their hour

Rashid Khan sets the field for Afghanistan. At Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi, that first-hour field is the plan for this Test.
